British Airways could see its busy Easter schedule disrupted after cabin crew at the airline voted overwhelmingly in favour of renewed strike action.Unite, the union representing the crew, said that of 10,000 crew polled, 83% of the 6,981 returning valid papers voted in favour of strikes. The timing of the strike has not been decided, but could disrupt Easter travel. The cabin crew are unhappy about travel concessions that have been removed from staff who went on strike last year."This vote shows that cabin crew remain determined to win justice," said Unite general secretary Len McCluskey. "We urge BA's boardroom to see this as a clear message that they must think again about how to regain the trust and confidence of a significant part of their cabin crew operation."BA, which is now part of International Consolidated Airlines after its merger with Spain's Iberia, said talks must continue."This is a time for co-operation, not confrontation," BA said."We began talks with Unite earlier this month, and those talks are continuing."LW
