Mobile payments company Bango has agreed a deal with telecoms conglomerate Etisalat to allow the network's customers across Asia, the Middle East and Africa to buy music, films, games and other paid-for apps via a single click of their phones. The direct operator billing service, which often makes phone users more likely to pay for services, has been running with UAE-based Etisalat on the Blackberry online store since last year and has now been rolled out onto the Google Play store as well. Bango Chief Executive Ray Anderson said: "This commitment from one of the world's highest rated mobile operator groups is a key indication of the importance of direct operator billing to unlocking digital content sales. "From today, millions of Google Play users can pay for their music, books, movies, games and apps with one-click. "We are now working with the Etisalat team to connect the wider range of app stores through the Bango platform and will update on our progress in due course."Shares in Bango were up 8.11% to 120p at 14:45 on Thursday.
