Anglo American sells Tarmac firm to own joint venture

Anglo American has agreed to sell Tarmac Building Products to Lafarge Tarmac, the joint venture between Lafarge and Anglo American's construction materials and services businesses in the UK. No details of the transaction, which is expected to close in the first half of 2014, were released. Tarmac Building Products is a supplier of heavy building products, including construction blocks, bagged aggregates and cement products. NR
