AG Barr, the Scottish soft drinks maker best known for its iconic Irn Bru concoction, said sales have continued frothing over in the new financial year.Back on 22 March the company reported that sales growth in the first seven weeks of the new financial year were ahead of the same period last year, despite “some tough comparative” figures.At the company's annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled for Monday 24 May the company chairman, Roger Hanna, will tell shareholders that “the strong growth experienced in 2009/10 has continued”.The company will issue its interim management statement on 2 June.
