FTSE 100-listed Associated British Foods(ABF) has reported that its wholly-owned subsidiary British Sugar will repay at par and in full the principal amount of 150m pounds of the 10.75 per cent redeemable debenture stock 2013 on July 2nd.In a statement issued on Monday, ABF stated that British Sugar had reported that the stock, together with all interest accrued up to and including that date, would be paid, adding that application had been made to cancel the listing of the stock with effect from the same date. British Sugar produces over 1.0m tonnes of sugar in the UK and an additional 500,000 tonnes of animal feed from sugar beet pulp. It also recycles stones for building, lime for soil conditioning and soil for landscaping.ABF is a diversified international food, ingredients and retail group with sales of £12.3bn and over 106,000 employees in 47 countries.MF
