Xchanging names new CEO

(ShareCast News) - Craig Wilson has been appointed as the new chief executive (CEO) of Xchanging, the business technology and service provider said.Wilson, who joins the group from HP Enterprise Services, will replace Ken Lever, who announced his intention to step down on 29 July and will leave his role at the end of the year.In a statement released on Wednesday, Xchanging said Wilson will join the board as chief executive officer designate from 1 November and will assume the role of CEO from 1 January next year."We are delighted to attract someone of Craig's talent and experience," said group chairman Geoff Unwin."His appointment is all about exploiting the obvious growth potential in the Xchanging portfolio and we think he has the market vision and experience to do that."Xchanging shares were up 2.97% to 95.25p at 0828 BST on Wednesday.
