Mining and exploration group West African Minerals announced it has made several changes to its board of directors and has appointed a new Chairman.The company has appointed Braford Mills, who is currently Chief Executive Officer of Canada-based mining group Plinian Capital, as its new Chairman with immediate effect. The firm's Chief Financial Officer Denham Eke will leave the board but will remain in his current post. Jim Mellon will stay on the board as a Non-Executive Director. Both Mellon and Eke have relinquished their recent share option awards. As of 14:45 the share price was unchanged at 6.5p.WS
