Wednesday preview: Ferrexpo, Avanti Communications

Results season may have kicked off in the US by the time Wednesday comes around but in the UK it looks like companies are taking a bit of a breather.Ferrexpo, the Ukraine-focused iron ore pellet producer, issues a third quarter production update which will keep the number crunchers busy for a few minutes but is unlikely to contain too much drama.Satellite operator Avanti Communications issues full year results with the market expecting a loss before tax of £9.4m on revenue of £17.3m.The group recently launched its second satellite which it hopes will rake in big profits providing data services to emerging markets.Switching to the economy, the big event is the US Federal Reserve's summary of commentary on current economic conditions, although it is hard to get excited about a survey commonly referred to as the Beige Book.The survey provides anecdotal evidence on the US economy from the 12 Federal Reserve districts.INTERIMSJZ Capital Partners LtdINTERIM DIVIDEND PAYMENT DATEBraime (T.F.& J.H.)
