(Sharecast News) - Interior furnishings outfit Walker Greenbank has tapped Dianne Thompson to be its next chairman.Thompson, who spent 14 years as chief executive of British National Lottery provider Camelot, will join the group on 1 February, initially as a non-executive director.Once the AIM-listed firm appoints a new chief executive officer, Thompson will take over as non-executive chairman and Christopher Rogers, currently interim executive chairman, will return to his previous role as non-executive director.Walker Greenbank said the ongoing search for its new chief executive was "progressing well" and that a further announcement would be made in due course.Rogers said: "I am delighted to welcome Dame Dianne Thompson to Walker Greenbank's board both as a non-executive director and as chairman designate.""Dianne is a highly experienced executive and non-executive director and, as chairman, will bring a strong marketing and operational focus to the Board. We look forward to working with her."As of 1220 GMT, Walker Greenbank shares had dipped 0.53% to 85.54p.
