(ShareCast News) - Shares in drug discovery company Verseon Corporation were up after the firm said it bought an $8.7m property for a new lab.At 1537 BST shares in the AIM listed company were up by 2.02% to 227p at 1425 BST.The building, which has about 85,000 square feet of useable space, would help implement the planned expansion of its computing and laboratory staff, Verseon said.Chief executive Adityo Prakash said the company's current drug programs had continued to make steady progress."The new facility is integral to the company's growth plans, as it supports the infrastructure necessary to expand our pipeline and accelerate the progress of our existing drug programs," Prakash said.
