(Sharecast News) - Wall Street futures were in the green ahead of the opening bell on Tuesday, after the previous session's tech‑led rally driven by artificial‑intelligence names.

As of 1215 BST, Dow Jones futures were up 0.32%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures had the indices opening 0.12% and 0.15% firmer, respectively.

The Dow closed 366.19 points higher on Monday, extending gains recorded in the previous session after a volatile week marked by big swings in the oil and bond markets and three major central bank decisions.

Traders will now look ahead to a high‑profile summit in Washington between Donald Trump and China's Xi Jinping later in the week, with discussions expected to cover artificial intelligence, the Iran conflict, tariffs and rare earth metals.

Ahead of the meeting, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent held talks with Chinese vice‑premier He Lifeng.

On the macro front, the Richmond Federal Reserve's September manufacturing index will be published at 1500 BST.

No major corporate earnings were slated for release on Tuesday.
