(Sharecast News) - Wall Street futures were in the green ahead of the opening bell on Tuesday as Treasury yields headed south.
As of 1230 BST, Dow Jones futures were up 0.49%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures had the indices opening 0.30% and 0.42% firmer, respectively.
The Dow closed 90.94 points higher on Monday, as falling oil prices offset concerns surrounding elevated Treasuries.
However, the benchmark 10‑year Treasury yield slipped more than three basis points to 5.277% early on Tuesday, while the 30‑year note eased a little less than three basis points to 5.636%, after both touched their highest levels since 2002 at the start of the week.
A pullback in oil prices also helped support equities, with international benchmark Brent crude falling 2.32% to $98.08 a barrel, and West Texas Intermediate dropping 2.21% to $87.45 a barrel.
On the macro front, August trade balance figures will be released at 1330 BST.
In the corporate space, Constellation Brands was slated to report its latest quarterly earnings after the close.
