Ultra remains confident

Defence electronics supplier Ultra Electronics remains confident that it can continue to grow despite pressure on UK and US defence budgets. More of the defence budgets are being spent on electronics, which is good news for Ultra. The company's products are specified in an increasing number of programmes. Ultra plans to grow geographically as well as moving into civil markets. Ultra already has firm contracts for 60% of expected revenues over the next 12 months. Full year figures will be published on 28 February.
