LONDON (Dow Jones)--The syndicated, index-linked U.K. gilt issue planned for July will be a reopening of the 0.625% index-linked gilt due 2040, the U.K. Debt Management Office said Friday. The DMO expects the sale to take place in the second half of the month, subject to market conditions. The DMO has hired Deutsche Bank AG, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC Holdings PLC and the Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC to lead manage the new issue. The DMO plans to issue around GBP26 billion via syndicated offers in 2010-11.
