Ubisense wins €1.7m contract extension

AIM-listed Ubisense has landed orders worth more than €1.7m for software and services to facilitate the fibre planning and maintenance a large European telecommunications company. The award is an extension of an earlier agreement. Richard Green, Ubisense Chief Executive Officer, said: "This blue chip operator has selected our real time location intelligence software in order to significantly enhance the productivity of their fibre planning operation as they extend the broadband capacity of their network. "The contract extensions exemplify the value of the group's now converged product suite and the increasing momentum in our transition towards a Solutions based business model with greater scalability."Shares dropped 3% to 193p by 15:57.NR
