Nature-derived insect and parasite control products developer, TyraTech, has entered an agreement with Novartis Animal Health to launch Natunex, a new line of non-toxic biocides in the US.The new product, which is designed to quickly control the spread of insects in livestock and production animal facilities, will be distributed by Novartis to its customer base throughout the US. The biocide market for animal health is expected to reach $900m to $1b by 2016.Chief Executive Officer Bruno Jactel said: "TyraTech is excited about delivering the Natunex product line, which addresses the increased demand from livestock producers for efficacious, safe and more practical solutions to control insects and parasites. "The partnership with Novartis Animal Health will make Natunex immediately available across Novartis' network of US livestock producers, with a global roll-out forthcoming. "In addition, this relationship demonstrates the effectiveness and quality of TyraTech's technology and products.
