Online grocer Ocado is expected to report an annual pre-tax loss of 4.2m pounds, according to consensus.Analysts say the group will only just miss out on reporting its first pre-tax profit in 14 years of operation. However, the company's deal with Morrison last year to supply a new online service has boosted results and could push the group over the line to report a pre-tax profit. Meanwhile, ARM Holdings, which supplies chips to the smartphone market, will issue its fourth quarter interims. In the firm's third quarter results it expected the next three months to see an increase in royalties. However, Numis said since then there have been indications that ARM's royalty growth is likely to slow over forthcoming quarters, including inventory correction in the smartphone market."We expect ARM to meet fourth quarter expectations, however believe it is likely to communicate a degree of caution over market expectations for full year 2014 where consensus looks too optimistic on royalties in US$ terms."BG Group and BP are also among companies on the London Stock Exchange reporting. In macro, data on UK construction activity and US factory orders will be released and US Federal Reserve officials will speak, potentially offering clues on the central bank's next policy decision.
