(Sharecast News) - African phosphate explorer and developer Kropz said on Thursday that the appeal hearing against Elandsfontein's integrated water use licence, which it describes as "valid", was resuming during the day following a request by the tribunal for a continuation.
The AIM-traded firm added that, in order to allow the tribunal the "appropriate opportunity" to fully review the matter, it would not be providing further comment on the official proceedings until the tribunal has announced its decision.

Three days had been scheduled for the hearing, it said, with the timing of the decision not currently known.

"Pending the tribunal's decision, there is no legal impediment to the continuation of the water use activities authorised in the integrated water use licence," Kropz said in its statement.
