Totally shrinks losses

Marketing and publishing group Totally said operating loss from continuing operations narrowed while turnover fell. The group, who sold its US based publishing business to focus mostly on its core UK businesses, said losses narrowed to £0.064m for the year ended 31 December 008 from a loss of £0.45m before. Turnover fell to £1.68m from £1.84m before. Administrative expenses were reduced by £0.28m, wages and staff costs by £0.21m and head office charges by £0.21m, the group said. Chairman Michael Sinclair said trading since the beginning of the current financial year has, despite the general economic climate, been stable and the group expects a positive outcome for the full year.
