Thursday's agenda will be jam-packed with economic releases and company results including finals from Lloyds Banking Group, Rio Tinto and Rolls-Royce.Ahead of its annual results, Lloyds has agreed a deal to pay about £395m in bonuses, including an award of more than £1.5m for its Chief Executive Antonio Horta-Osorio, according to Sky News. The deal, which represents a 10% rise in bonuses on last year's £360m pool, is expected to be announced alongside the state-backed lender's 2013 results. It comes a day after banking peer Barclays announced it was paying £2.4bn in bonuses despite a drop in profit.Rolls-Royce's full-year results will also be closely watched following news two men were arrested on Wednesday as part of the British anti-fraud's investigation into the planemaker's dealings in Asia."In connection with a Serious Fraud Office investigation, we can confirm a number of search warrants have been executed at various properties in London today. Two men were also arrested," the Serious Fraud Office said. Rolls-Royce declined to comment.Meanwhile, Rio Tinto is tipped to report an improvement in annual earnings, as stronger-than-expected demand and steel production in China drove the average price of iron ore prices up.The miner also cut $2bn in costs from its business in 2013, helping it to report a 4.5% increase in full-year underlying earnings to $9.72bn, according to consensus forecast. In macro-economic releases later on, the European Central Bank will unveil its monthly bulletin, while German inflation data will be out and the US will see reports on initial jobless claims, consumer confidence and retail sales.
