(Sharecast News) - On Thursday, first-half results from Grafton, Hilton Food and Alfa Financial Software will be out, while Brooks Macdonald will release full-year results.
Shore Capital, which is the house broker for Hilton Food, said it expects a resilient performance from the core meat/convenience activities to have been more than offset by the well-understood challenges in seafood, vegan & vegetarian (SVV), resulting in a profit decline year-on-year.
"That said, full-year expectations look very well underpinned, with potential for the upper end of the £60-65m profit before tax guidance range (pre- Dalco disposable)," it said.
"Just six months into a refocus strategy around core meat expertise and the significant opportunity in Central European convenience, we see Hilton as making robust progress, with FY26F valuations that remain undemanding at 12.7x PER and an EV/EBITDA multiple of 5.3x, yielding 5.7%."
Across the pond, quarterly results from Lululemon Athletica, Planet Labs, Campbell's and Victoria's Secret are due.
Also of note will be the release of the latest US initial jobless claims figures, the RatingDog China services PMI for August, and eurozone and UK PMIs for August.
