Shareholders in Currys and PC World owner DSG International will be bracing themselves for bad news when the company declares its full-year results on Thursday, after its rival, Kesa Electricals, announced a near 50% cut in underlying profits on Wednesday.DSG is expected to announced adjusted pre-tax profits of £43m on sales of £8,342m, which would represent a fall of around 80% on the preceding year. On a bright note, JP Morgan is expecting the group to report a slight improvement in UK like-for-like sales growth in May and June. The group recently exited the Hungarian market but has kept faith with its Czech and Slovakian operations, which continue to perform well within their market, while the Polish business remains under review.Acquisitive legacy software specialist Micro Focus is expected to announce earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation in the range of $115m to $117m, after a solid fourth quarter performance. Full year revenues should be up by about 20% on the preceding year, reflecting, in part, the contribution of recent acquisitions.
