Shares in SDL International have fallen back following the sale of shares by its chairman and chief executive. Mark Lancaster sold 750,000 shares at 540p a share. That was more than one-half of his stake and raised £4.05m. Lancaster says that he sold the shares in order to finance the purchase of a property. He retains a 0.7% stake. Bid rumours continue to push up the share price of software provider Autonomy. A bid price of 2500p a share has been suggested. Emblaze is also continuing to rise following its admission earlier this week that it was in advanced negotiations to sell its main business, Formula Systems.
