TechMARK movers: Better second half for BATM

Telecoms and medical equipment supplier BATM says that its second half revenue and operating profit will be better than the first half figures. BATM expects second half revenues of around $63m, a 14% increase on the first half. The full year revenues are $119m. A first half operating profit of $1.3m was reported and a full year operating profit $7.3m is expected.Engineering software provider Aveva is lower on the day even though its interim figures were in line with expectations. Revenue in the six months to the end of September rose 12% to £78.5m and recurring revenue rose 11% to £53.3m. Adjusted profit before tax climbed 12% to £24.6m.Net cash and deposits at the end of September 2010 stood at £140.1m, down from £149.7m at the end of March.James Kidd is replacing Paul Taylor as finance director. Norgine bought its 12.6% stake in ProStrakan from Aventis. ProStrakan bought a Paris-based subsidiary of Aventis in 2004 and then sold it to Galapagos in December 2006.
