Telecoms systems and equipment designer BATM Advanced Communications was boosted by the news of a new contract worth $5m in total in 2010 and 2011. There could be additional orders after that BATM will be the sole supplier of its secure, high speed access military communications platform to "a prominent defence force". Shares in telecoms company KCOM have been hit by the sale of more than 10m shares by institutional investor Aviva - which was announced just after the close yesterday. This takes its stake to just below 15.5m shares, or 2.99% of KCOM. KCOM has restructured over the past year or so and this helped boost the share price during the autumn. However, broker FinnCap believes that organic revenue growth is a much more significant challenge, and one which KCOM has not historically delivered on.FTSE TechMARK - RisersAnite Group (AIE) 34.00p +5.43%Ark Therapeutics (AKT) 37.75p +4.86%Renishaw (RSW) 540.00p +4.55%Torotrak (TRK) 26.50p +3.92%Consort Medical (CSRT) 363.00p +3.42%Kewill (KWL) 108.00p +2.86%BATM Advanced (BVC) 48.75p +2.63%Psion (PON) 90.00p +2.27%Antisoma (ASM) 35.75p +2.14%Autonomy Corporation (AU.) 1,543.00p +2.05%FTSE TechMARK - FallersProStrakan (PSK) 82.00p -7.08%Puricore (PURI) 13.25p -7.02%Skyepharma (SKP) 86.00p -4.44%Phytopharm (PYM) 11.00p -4.35%Cryptologic Ld (CRP) 200.00p -2.44%Emblaze (BLZ) 44.00p -2.22%Gresham Computing (GHT) 24.00p -2.04%Morse (MOR) 43.50p -1.69%Sinclair Pharma (SPH) 32.75p -1.50%KCOM Group (KCOM) 44.50p -1.11%
