(ShareCast News) - TechFinancials affirmed its commitment to the Asia Pacific market on Monday, announcing the opening of a new sales office in Hong Kong.The AIM-traded software developer of online trading solutions said the opening followed its announcement on 5 January, regarding the completion of a joint venture with Optionfortune Trade, to run a B2C binary options trading platform focused on Asia Pacific.TechFinancials said the Hong Kong office would allow the company to execute new business partnerships and joint ventures with local specialists, to increase market penetration and support TechFinancials brokers in the region.The office was to be headed by Calvin Hau, the company's Asia Pacific sales manager, who recently joined the TechFinancials team."Opening an office in Hong Kong is a core part of our strategy to expand into Asia and penetrate markets with high growth potential," said CEO Asaf Lahav."With the establishment of the joint venture to run a B2C binary options trading platform in the Asia Pacific region, our Hong Kong base will strengthen our B2B foothold and overall presence in the region," he added.Lahav said that, under Hau's guidance, the company was well placed for further growth in China and to develop new customers in the wider Asia Pacific region.
