Residential development group Taylor Wimpey announced the retirement of Tony Reading, Chairman of the remuneration committee.Reading, who is also an independent non-executive director, will be retiring from the company at the annual general meeting which will be held on April 17th. Succeeding Reading as Chairman of the remuneration committee will be Baroness Margaret Ford, former Chair of the London 2012 Olympic Park Legacy Company.Kate Barker, a European economist, will also be appointed to the group's remuneration committee effective from April 17th. Kevin Beeston, Chairman, said: "On behalf of the board of Taylor Wimpey, I would like to take this opportunity to express my enormous gratitude to Tony for his outstanding and dedicated service over the past nine years, and also for his invaluable contribution to the remuneration committee which he has chaired since 2007."
