Synectics excited by launch of new platform

Advanced surveillance technology provider Synectics has launched its new 'Synergy 3' command and control platform.The platform is designed to be simple to deploy and integrate, and its new functionality ensures it has applications across all of Synectics' target sectors, including infrastructure, oil and gas and high security. Chief Executive John Shepherd said management was "very excited" by the potential of the new platform."We've taken our 25 years of experience, customer feedback and analysis of future market trends, and channelled that knowledge into a platform that is flexible, scalable and obsolescence-proof," he said. "We have had some excellent feedback from a series of previews at high profile security shows and we are very excited by its potential."As of 12:34 the share price was unchanged at 405p.WS
