Synectics director increases stake showing confidence

A senior independent director at Synectics bought some shares in the strategic surveillance technology group.Peter Rae spent £18,620, purchasing 14,000 shares for 133p each, increasing his stake to a total of 232,302 shares.The company secured a contract with Jakarta International Airport last week, where it will supply an integrated airport security and safety management solution for Terminal 3 Ultimate at the airport.Last month, Synectics reported a 21.6% decline in revenue to £64.6m, while its profit of £7.1m in 2013 turned into a £2.4m loss in 2014.
