SuperGroup Director of E-Commerce sells entire stake

Chris Griffin, the Director of E-Commerce at SuperGroup, has sold off his entire stake in the company the same day it revealed quarterly sales had soared. Griffin disposed of 50,536 shares at 1,213.3p a piece, earning him a total of £0.61m. The move followed an impressive jump in the share price which has more than doubled since the start of 2013.In Thursday's announcement, the fashion retailer said total group sales for the quarter to July 28th increased by 25.7% to £75.0m, after what the company described as a "solid trading performance that was in line with management expectations". The group, which is behind the Superdry label, said it had started the year in "fine form", and was confident it would meet expectations in the autumn period. SuperGroup is currently undergoing a global expansion, most recently forming partnerships in Turkey, Malaysia and Singapore.
