Sunrise Resources cheered its investors with good news on Monday thanks to bonanza silver grade samples retrieved from its Bay State Silver Project in Nevada. The programme, which was completed over an area that was previously blocked by a rock fall that had prevented access, discovered an average 1kg per tonne of silver for 18 samples taken along a 230m area to the end of the audit. In one section, a value of up to 4kg per tonne was found over a 2ft area.Executive chairman Patrick Cheetham said: "These are outstanding results. The records of production from this mine are scant but we assume it was very high grade. "The confirmation of bedded style mineralisation containing bonanza silver grades, and previously sampled at surface, presents an exciting additional target with excellent tonnage potential."The drill plan has been revised to focus exclusively on the Chihuahua Vein, from which the samples were taken.
