Sula Iron & Gold says Sierra Leone find needs more work

Sula Iron & Gold has struck gold in Sierra Leone but said it needed to do more preliminary work before drilling.Sula said it had found two new gold anomalous areas with gold values as high as 3,090ppb at its Ferensola Project in the Sula-Kangari Greenstone belt.The group said the gold was found on tough terrain which made data collection and interpretation a complex exercise.Chief Executive Nick Warrell said: "While two new areas have been identified, further quantitative work is required before any core drilling is completed."Shares fell 0.3p or 8.7% to 2.9p by 14:40 in London.PW
