Speedy Hire names Lynn Krige FD

Construction materials hire firm Speedy Hire said it has appointed Lynn Krige as finance director with effect from 1 September 2011. Krige, who was previously finance director of construction and housebuilding firm John Laing, will replace Justin Read, who resigned from the position of finance director with effect from 26 August 2011. Commenting on the new appointment chief executive Steve Corcoran said, "Her experience will be most valuable and we look forward to her input as the company continues its growth." Earlier this month Speedy Hire said its performance was in line with management expectations in the three months to 30 June. ---CJ
