Speculation surfaces of possible bid for easyJet by its founder

(ShareCast News) - Market chatter surfaced on Friday morning, referencing a newspaper report, regarding a possible bid for easyJet.The Guardian cited talk among traders of a possible £16bn a share offer for the airline, perhaps from a private equity outfit, from Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou himself or a New York firm. As of 10:09 BST shares in the budget airline were at the top of the leaderboard for the Footsie, rising by 2.97% to 1,110.0p.-- More to follow --
