Serco Group, the FTSE 250 international service company, has been awarded a two-year contract extension by Public Works and Government Services Canada on the Goose Bay agreement. Under the contract, which has been extended to March 2016, Serco provides non-military operation and maintenance site support services at the 5 Wing Canadian Forces Base in Goose Bay. The extension is valued at just under C$100m (around £55.95m) over a two-year period. Paul Dalglish, Serco's Vice President of Canadian Operations, said: "Working with the Department of National Defence, Serco has provided site support services at Goose Bay for over 15 years."We're excited to continue our work on behalf of the Canadian government and to remain a viable part of the local Goose Bay community."NR
