Senior upped sales to the military and defence, land vehicle and semi-conductor markets in 2010, pushing profits at the engineer to record levels.Adjusted profit before tax and one-offs grew by 36% to £65.3m in the 12 months to 31 December on revenue up 5% to £566.9m. Profit before tax increased 5% to £52.1m."The current year has started in line with the board's expectations and prospects for the remainder of 2011 and beyond remain encouraging," said the firm which works on Boeings's 787 Dreamliner, the C-130 air-transport aircraft and Black Hawk helicopter.There's a final dividend of 2.12p a share, lifting the full-year payout to 3.12p, up 20% on 2009.
