Schroders Real Estate secures letting agreement for Bedford warehouse

(ShareCast News) - Schroders Real Estate Investment Trust has reached a letting agreement for the St John's Retail Park in Bedford.The London-listed trust, which acquired the facility in May, said it will lease the single vacant retail unit to Tapi Carpets and Floord for £121,500 per year.The group added it had also agreed to extend a letting agreement with electricals retailer Maplin Electronics for a further five years to 2023.Schroder Real Estate shares were down 0.85% to 58.25p at 1014 BST on Friday.
