Scapa's share price rose by more than 6.5% after the adhesive tape manufacturer reported operating profits were "significantly" ahead for the six months ended 30 September.Scapa also said that revenue was marginally ahead and that continued progress on margins has been maintained through self help measures of efficiency, cost reduction and focus on higher quality business. Cash flow for the period also increased to £20.8m at the period end. The group said: "While remaining cautious in the face of the current negative economic sentiment, the board is confident about the group's outlook for the year which is in line with current market expectations."The share price rose 6.55% to 44.75p by 10:54.NR
