Sainsbury confirms plans to sell Bank business to Lloyds

Supermarket giant Sainsbury has said it notes the recent press speculation and has confirmed that it is in 'advanced negotiations' with Lloyds Banking Group to take full ownership of Sainsbury's Bank. It added that it will make a further announcement in "due course". NR
