(Sharecast News) - Heating and cooling solutions provider Sabien Technology has been awarded a further contract by a UK government department valued at approximately £264,000.

Sabien said on Friday that the contract was for the extended deployment of its M2G Boiler Optimisation Technology across multiple sites throughout the UK in support of a major project.

The AIM-listed firm highlighted that the order was the first volume order for more than 100 M2G Cloud Connected devices and said it vindicated its product management decision to cloud-enable all its solutions.

Chairman Richard Parris said: "This contract award is further confirmation of Sabien's ability to deliver large-scale M2G rollout projects in the UK Public Sector using our new Cloud Connected devices.

"Using the intuitive M2G Cloud dashboard, customers and their facilities management partners can take back control of efficiency by monitoring the performance of any boiler in any boiler room from any location. This saves outage disruptions, gas consumed and CO2 emissions."

As of 0950 GMT, Sabien shares were up 3.70% at 21.0p.
