(Sharecast News) - Big data technology Rosslyn Data Technologies has secured a three-year contract with a mystery retailer for the implementation and license of a Langdon Excise system.
Rosslyn said on Wednesday that it will provide the grocery and general merchandise retailer with a comprehensive end-to-end solution allowing it to receive, manage and discharge duty suspended shipments from authorised suppliers under the excise movement and control system.

The AIM-listed group also stated that the contract demonstrated the traction that its Langdon Systems unit was having with large clients ahead of Brexit.

Chief executive Roger Bullen said: "This win illustrates the opportunities that have arisen for Langdon Systems as a result of Brexit and our ability, one year after the acquisition of Langdon, to scale up the Langdon business by moving into larger implementations with higher contract values."

As of 0910 GMT, Rosslyn shares were up 8.38% at 5.69p.
