Revenues edge higher at KSK Power

Indian power project company KSK Power Ventur saw revenue edge marginally higher in the six months to end-September.Consolitated revenue grew to Rs 2,798m in the April to September period from Rs 2,574m a year earlier.Profit after tax after minority interests are accounted for remained at similar levels to last year, at about Rs 850m.Two of the company's three operating power plants recorded a plant load factor (PLF) of 85%, while the Sai Regency plant continued to operate at around 68% PLF.During the reporting period the company has seen substantial construction progress and completion of erection works of the Boiler, Turbine and Generator on both the VS Lignite and Wardha Warora projects.Work on the 3,600 megawatt (MW) Wardha Chhattisgarh project is also moving on apace, and the first unit of 600 MW is expected to start producing in 2012.
