Restaurant Group appoints CEO

The Restaurant Group has appointed Danny Breithaupt as Chief Executive Officer to succeed Andrew Page who steps down at the end of August. Breithaupt will take the helm of the owner of the Garfunkel's chain of restaurants on September 1st.He is currently Managing Director of the company's Leisure business and first joined The Restaurant Group in 2011. Breithaupt previously worked at Whitbread.Chairman Alan Jackson, said: I am delighted to announce the appointment of Danny Breithaupt as Chief Executive Officer of The Restaurant Group following the retirement of Andrew Page at the end of August 2014.
