Royal Bank of Scotland is reportedly close to appointing a Credit Suisse banker as its new Finance Director, following the resignation of Nathan Bostock in December.RBS, which is expected to announce Bostock's replacement next month, is now said to be looking to lure Ewen Stevenson, currently the co-head of Credit Suisse's investment bank in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to Sky News.Stevenson is said to be one of the architects of the £45bn government bailout of RBS in 2008.The appointment of Stevenson will require the approval of the Prudential Regulation Authority, which is expected within days, Sky said.RBS was trading 0.8% higher at 309.78p by 12:58 on Monday.BC
