(Sharecast News) - Copper and gold developer and producer Rambler Metals has taken a forward sale position on a large tonnage of copper, it announced on Tuesday.

The AIM-traded company said it had taken the position for 750 metric tonnes of copper over a 12-month period, at a price of $8,330 per tonne.

"This represents a nominal 11% of expected future copper production from the Ming Mine, subject to completion of the 2023 budget," the board said in its statement.

At 1535 GMT, shares in Rambler Metals and Mining were up 4.88% at 5.38p.
