Makers of Imperial Leather soap and distributor of consumer goods PZ Cussons announced the appointment of Morgan Stanley's former Vice Chairman as a non-executive director.Caroline Silver, who is currently Managing Director at Moelis & Co, the investment bank, is to take up her post at the company on April 1st.Silver is a chartered accountant and has 25 years' worth of experience within the investment banking industry.She has held many senior financial positions and was previously also Vice Chairman of Merrill Lynch for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.Silver is regularly noticed as one of the leading businesswomen in finance, having been at the centre of many of the biggest and most complex deals for more than a decade. Richard Harvey, Chairman, said he was "delighted to welcome Caroline to the board" and mentioned that "her personal interest in Africa also makes her a great fit for the company".As of 09:42 shares of PZ Cussons were rising by 0.70% to the 376.7p mark.
