Publishing services provider Publishing Technology has announced that it has won two new contracts for its 'advance' platform, which supports royalties, permissions, editorial, production, online sales and marketing, and digital and print distribution. The AIM-listed company said that the new contracts have a combined value over three years of around £3m.French publishing firm Editions Lefebvre-Sarrut (ELS) has signed an agreement for deployment from September 2014 across three of its subsidiary companies. The new system will allow ELS to package, market, deliver and sell all of its print, ebook and video content from a single application.Meanwhile, UK group Macmillan Distribution (MDL) has signed an agreement to create a new subscription system on the advance platform which it will use to expand into the journals fulfilment market."I am delighted to add ELS and MDL to the advance platform, further strengthening our new business division and increasing the number of customers on or implementing advance to 12. These wins demonstrate the flexibility and strength of the advance system," said Chief Executive Michael Cairns.The stock was up 6.3% at 340p in early trading on Friday.BC
