PPHE Hotels signs Battersea Power Station agreement

(ShareCast News) - Hospitality management group PPHE Hotel Group has signed an agreement with Battersea Power Station Development to develop a luxury hotel on the site.The hotel, which will have over 160 bedrooms and will open its doors in 2019, is set to be built in the proximity of the iconic power station in West London."We are delighted to have signed this hotel management agreement, which will further expand our presence in London," said group chief executive Boris Ivesha."The Battersea Power Station Development will transform London's skyline, creating a new destination and hub for local communities, visitors and residents."In a statement released on Tuesday, the London-listed company said the hotel will offer panoramic views and will be fitted with an outdoor rooftop pool and a roof garden.PPHE Hotel shares were up 1.97% to 673.00p at 0936 BST on Tuesday.
