LONDON (Dow Jones)--PME African Infrastructure Opps PLC (PMEA.LN), an investment company established to invest in sub-Saharan African infrastructure and infrastructure related industries, Thursday announces that, following the statement issued, yesterday, by the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers regarding Brian Myerson, Myerson has resigned from the board with immediate effect. MAIN FACTS: -Richard Bouma has returned to active service as part of a broader restructuring of the Investment Manager. -John Webley has already replaced Myerson in the role of non executive chairman of PME Infrastructure Managers Limited supported by Richard Bouma as executive vice chairman. -Brian Smith will retain the role of chief executive officer in charge of the day to day operations. -Shares at 1157 GMT down 0.16 pence, or 0.39%, at 39.8 pence.
