WARSAW (Dow Jones)--PKO Bank Polski (PKO.WA), Poland's biggest bank by assets, and BNP Paribas (BNP.FR) are on the shortlist of bidders for Bank Zachodni WBK (BZW.WA), owned by Allied Irish Banks (AIB), Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza reports. Without citing sources, the daily said the shortlist may also include HSBC (HBC) and private equity fund Apax. AIB is selling its 70% stake in Bank Zachodni WBK with investors expected to conduct due diligence by mid-August, the daily said.
